Hot Air Generators.
We manufacture high efficiency and superior quality Hot Air Generators. Our hot air generators come with robust construction easy operation and low maintenance. Our hot air generators are manufactured using right metallurgy, latest technology, under the supervision of experienced professionals. We follow a stringent quality control norm throughout the process of production and every individual product is verified by our quality controllers before the final dispatch to the clients.
RAYGM offers tow types of Hot Air Generators based on fuel used.
- Gas / Liquid (Fluid) Fired Hot Air Generators.
- Solid Fuel Fired Hot Air Generators.
Based on Mixing of combustion Products with process air there are again 2 types of Hot Air Generators are offer.
- Direct Fired Hot Air Generators (Process Air and Combustion products are mixed with each other)
- Indirect Fired Hot Air Generators (Process Air and Combustion products are not mixed with each other)
Direct Oil or Gas Fired Hot Air Generator
The construction is double walled concentric cylindrical system either mounted horizontally or vertically. Burner is mounted in a combustion chamber which is inner shell, either provided with suitable (refractory) lining or bare stainless-steel construction. The fresh air from blower is supplied at required pressure to the chamber. The air envelopes the combustion chamber and absorbs the radiant and conduction heat from its surface and then mixes with completed combustion gases in a conical mixing chamber. The hot air, thus generated is let out from hot air generator at controlled temperature to the process.

Indirect Oil or Gas Fired Hot Air Generator,
the construction is 5 shell concentric cylindrical system either mounted horizontally or vertically. Burner is mounted in a combustion chamber which is inner shell. The fresh air from blower is supplied at required pressure to the outermost shell to absorb heat and minimise losses. The Process air passes through shell no. 5,3 and on then 2 next to combustion chamber and absorbs the radiant and conduction heat from its surface and then goes to area of application. The combustion products are not mixed with process air. To minimise the heat losses in flue gas additional finned tube heat exchanger is provided based on requirement.

Solid Fuel Fired Hot Generator
100% combustion of fuel and heat recovery is ensured.
Solid fuel fired hot air generators use coal, Pet-coke, Lignite, Wood wastes, chips saw
dust, Agricultural wastes (such as rice husks, cotton stacks, soybean shells, ground nut
shells, etc) or briquettes, as fuel.
Direct Fired Hot Air Generators.
This works on the principal of Fluid Bed Combustion.
The FBC combustor consists of a refractory lined furnace, ash settler, mixing zone for
dilution air, Coal bunker with Screw feeder etc. The crushed coal along with an inert medium
is fluidised on a bed of air and is combusted in refractory lined furnace to generate the
required heat output and then mixed with Dilution air stream so as to give the required
temperature and quantity of hot gases. The system is provided with combustion cum
Fluidization air fan with necessary damper. A separate dilution air fan with damper is
provided for the dilution of the Hot Gases produced through the fluidised bed combustion.
Indirect Fired Hot Air Generators.
This works on the principal o Fluid Bed combustion and heat exchange through shell and tube
heat exchangers.
The Fluidised Bed Combustion fired Hot air Generator system consist of a Radiative Heat
Exchanger (1st Pass), Convective Heat Exchanger (2nd pass and 3rd pass) and a heat recovery
unit (4th pass) followed by Air pollution equipment like Cyclones and Bag houses. In case of
high sulphur in fuel dry gas scrubbing too can be installed.
All heat exchangers are designed with proper ash discharge for low wear and tear, having
optimal velocities for low pressure drop and high heat transfer and finest available
materials to give long maintenance free life.
